When Gym Group wanted to go bigger and bolder than ever before, we were ready to make their dream a reality. Collaborating with Events Inc, we delivered an epic event themed around the vibrant neon 90s. From a professional conference by day to a rave party by night, we brought this vision to life on an extraordinary scale.
The Brief
Gym Group, working with Sonia from Events Inc., wanted a neon 90s-themed event that was “bigger than anything they’d done before.” The challenge was to create a professional conference during the day, seamlessly transitioning into an epic neon-themed party at night, all while reflecting their active, high-energy brand.
Wildfire Solution
From the first call, we were completely in sync with the team. The event was held at the Sofitel Heathrow, providing ample space for breakouts and a large stage setup for their daytime conference. We used repeater monitors and a branded set to keep the focus on Gym Group throughout the day. Custom draping in their brand colours added a professional, polished look.
For the afternoon activities, we catered to their active crowd with a Batak wall, giant Scalextrics, and speed-based games. Sponsors kept energy levels high with drink giveaways, tying into the fitness theme.
By night, the venue transformed into a neon rave. LED dancers, starlit draping, a massive illuminated hi-fi, and a vibrant neon games area set the stage for a party like no other. We also installed a huge LED dancefloor, and the lighting rig was designed to showcase each performer, including headliners like Fats and Small, Denise van Houten, and Ultrabeat.
Guests were treated to interactive food stations, and a pianist outside the main room, and the celebration carried on until the early hours of the morning.
A show-stopping event that left guests buzzing with excitement. The neon party was electric, and the mix of entertainment and immersive experiences made this an unforgettable evening.
